The Exotic Shorthair is a cat breed with the affectionate and calm personality of a Persian but with a short, dense, plush coat that requires less grooming. They have a round face, large eyes, and a stocky body, and are known for being gentle, playful, and adaptable to various living situations. Due to their flat faces, they can be prone to certain health issues like breathing difficulties and eye problems, and they need regular cleaning of their eyes.

  They are known for being sweet, gentle, and loyal companions who enjoy cuddling and lap time.

  While generally laid-back, they enjoy playing with toys and are more energetic than Persians.

  They are well-suited for both apartments and houses and can get along well with children and other pets.

  They prefer to be around their family and don't do well if left alone for long periods. 

   

Appearance
